Happy Gay Uncles and Aunts Day

Today we are excited to celebrate Gay Uncles Day! It's a time to recognize the love, support, and joy that gay uncles (and aunts and piblings and titis) bring into the lives of their families. And it’s not just Guncles and Gaunts; it’s the LGBTQ+ uncles, aunts, cousins, extended families, community leaders, mentors, and found families that build our vibrant community. With growing acceptance and openness in the world they are often people's first exposure to the LGBTQ+ world. They are the confidants who provide a safe space and teach the young ones the value of being authentically themselves. So go out there and show your appreciation for your favorite Gaunt or Guncle or whomever! Tell them what they’ve meant in your life and all the amazing memories you’ve had with them.
